Since his mother was a teacher, Thep Chumsai Na Ayutthaya was instilled with a love of reading since he was a child. His path to becoming a writer began with his work being entered in various competitions until he became a professional writer. As for his horror novels, he was inspired by his grandmother telling him fairy tales.
